Corona Cinco de Mayo
QUEEN CONTEST

NOT A PAGENT

The purpose of the contest is to raise scholarship funds to be awarded to graduating students of Corona/Norco Unified School District. The candidate who raises the most monies for the scholarship fund will be the Cinco de Mayo Queen. Last year 2009, the Committee awarded $11,000.00 in scholarships.

QUEEN will receive a $400.00 Cash, sash & trophy;

1st RUNNER UP and 2nd RUNNER UP

will receive a tiara, sash and trophy

Plus other prizes donated by the community.

Qualifying candidates will receive a gift bag; will ride on the parade float May 1st
and be presented to the community at the City Park Band Shell on Sixth Street
and then the Queen will be announced

and crowned at Noon.
